Adam Lambert at Bonbon, My Twisted Tuesday

P1110772bonbon 021610 021
I was enjoying my cherry infused vodkas at Vlada so much last Tuesday that I missed Adam Lambert at Bonbon. Well, he could have been there when I was. It was so crowded, I took shelter near Amanda Lepore and Brian Mills near the booths in the corner. I'm still finding out that friends of mine were there whom I didn't see. Good thing my de la Blanca brother Ricky (pictured by me above left) nabbed a self-portrait of him and Adam (above right). My Wonder Twin and Fierth.com impresario Brian Mills (pictured below) snapped some more of Adam here.

I was a bit later than usual because Demanda Dahling was hosting and performing at Twisted Tuesdays. Demanda performed whatever track from King Ralphy's (pictured above with Demanda) CD that DJ VTone played. She gave an eager audience member both a lap dance and a drink ticket. Eric Halliwell (pictured below left and right) got on the microphone to spread some cheer. I'm looking forward to next Twisted Tuesday with me DJ'ing and Nancy Nosecandy hosting Nancy's Nosecandyland.

Adam Lambert Was Not at Malan Breton's show but Anoop Desai, Constantine, the Countess LuAnn Lessepes, and Mark Indelicato Were

Adam Lambert was a no-show at Malan Breton's fall 2010 collection show yesterday; but there were other two American Idol alums there to fill the void. Constantine (pictured atop, to the left of the M, and near the end of this post) was there to take in Malan's (pictured above center) Indian-inspired collection. Anoop Desai (pictured below center) added to the show's local color, along with a halftime number by the SA Dance Company (pictured around Anoop), by closing it with his upcoming first single, "My Name." Anoop practiced the song twice during dress rehearsal—and sounded great each time—so King Ralphy and I were singing it along with him at the end of the show.

Ralphy (pictured above center) was particularly happy that another reality TV star was in the show, Countess LuAnn Lessepes (pictured above center and near the end of the post), who sported the last look, a pyrite and saffron mylar dress with a silk corsettiere and matching fishtail underlay. Tucked away from the rather orderly if packed backstage so that she could breathe while getting on her make-up, the Countess joked that her dress was the only one she could fit into but loved her body the way it is. Who needs to be a size 0? She looked radiant. Walking the show enabled her to revisit her modeling career. "From Milan to Malan," she smiled.

Ralphy and I managed to snag seats in the row in the middle of the roundabout runway while Francis Legge wandered backstage to take footage for a documentary. We enjoyed Malan's collection, awash in metallic and bold colors, with some prints for the ladies, and formal wear for the gents. I could see Ugly Betty's Mark Indelicato (pictured below in the middle and in the first picture of the post on the far right) in some of the brighter-colored menswear. Maybe that's what he was telling the camera crews eager to talk to him after the show.

I Missed Adam Lambert at Bonbon

I missed Adam Lambert at Bonbon last night because I was hanging with Demanda Dahling (pictured below left), King Ralphy (pictured below right), Eric Halliwell (pictured at the end of this post), and Nancy Nosecandy at the debut of Twisted Tuesdays at Vlada. No worries. I'll see Adam later today at the Malan Breton Collection show. I did see my Wonder Twin Brian Mills (pictured above) sporting a fancy new necklace and my de la Blanca brother Ricky (pictured atop) giving me headdress.

My toes were hurting from looking at Josie Raler's (nevertheless gorgeous) six-inch heels (the red-bottomed ones pictured above center). But it was good to see Josie with Amanda Lepore (pictured below), both back in town.

Bonbon was so packed that I could barely move around. I guess the flurries earlier yesterday did not keep anyone home.
