Casa de la Blanca Serves Bonbon

P1080286
I had so much fun with my de la Blanca family at Bonbon, Susanne Bartsch and Kenny Kenny's Tuesday night party at Juliet Supper Club. I hadn't carried on like that in quite a long time. By the end of the night, I was a sweaty, fantastical mess. We took it to the floor, to the tables, wherever we could walk and serve de la Blanca down. Of course I had my camera out even was I was voguing with my sister Jadah (pictured above), inspiring her to outdo me. Divine and Father Julian (pictured below, left to right) ruled the floor while DJ Michael Magnan provided the beats to keep us going.

My sister Jamie (pictured below) took over one of the tables. All night, she was working me out with her look.

Ricky was killing me with his diva beard. Too much.

At one point, Jadah (below) added Celso's fan to her repertoire.

And Divine (below) was giving. It. All over the floor.

Of course, so were Celso and Kia (pictured together, left to right, then separately). They were both giving me a superheroine effect.

These are but a sampling of the pictures I took. It was a 485-picture night. Clearly my feet and my eyes were inspired. And the vodka kept my hydrated. Stay tuned for more.

Just Like Confection, Flawless

P1060663
I've never danced so much at Bonbon, Susanne Bartsch and Kenny Kenny's Tuesday night shindig at the gorgeous Juliet Supperclub. Once DJ Michael Magnan came on, he had me on. My. Feet. And forgetting to snap away. I'd come from the Boybox party at G Lounge, where Cazwell was spinning up a storm himself. Unfortunately, I'd just missed Johnny's show on the front stage when I walked in. After a round or two, Eric Halliwell, Demanda Dahling, Tyler, and I thought we should make our way to Bonbon. We didn't want to miss any of the fantasies people had dreamed up for the night. As we walked in, we said hello to Matthew Heresy and Jordan Fox (pictured above). I was still recovering from Jordan's look from last week's Vandam--and told her so.

Soon, though, Michael started spinning, my De La Blanca sister Celso (pictured below) started walking, and I lost all track of time.

Finally, I made my way through the crowd to say hi to Ladyfag (pictured below right) and dance with Amanda Lepore (picture below left). Soon after, though, Eric, Demanda, and Tyler wanted to go to The Eagle. We walked over to discover a $10 cover and a foot fetish party. We decided to call it a night. Well, Heresy and I dropped by Barracuda to say hi to Kyle; but they were closing shop early. We had to rush our nightcap. Nancy Nosecandy was there. So was Matthew Camp, unwinding from go-go'ing at Boybox. By the time I made it home I was newly awake from the night. That's why this is here now.

Shake Your BONBON

P1030413
Sherry Vine often says that she likes a warm hand on her opening. That's exactly what the crowd at Juliet gave Susanne Bartsch and Kenny Kenny's premiere of their new Tuesday night party called BONBON. I cheered the cute space, too, once I arrived. I didn't realize I was running late. I'd taken a nice stroll through Manhattan after a Kathryn Bigelow screening and Q&A at the MoMA, then popped in to Barracuda to say hi to Kyle. Kyle said I'd just missed Nancy Nosecandy (pictured below), Demanda Dahling, and DivaSteve Sandy. They'd left to catch BONBON's open bar from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Off I went. I only had time for one fantastical free drink once I found everyone--holding onto the bar, of course. We worked the floor, too, admiring all the paint, heels, and rhinestones. Some of us (like Jordan) even came as boys. Demanda (pictured below) was serving her trademark demented ecstasy from behind a sea of mesh.

Included in the crowd were Celso, Michael Musto, and Amanda Lepore, accompanied by her usual crew of pretty boys. We all made our way over to her table (pictured above) and her bottle, marked by a swirling, digitized "Tranny Mess" label. We sat and grooved to Biggie Smalls and the Bee Gees as Epiphany and Jane Lane arrived. I nursed a few more rounds, then headed out to bask in the full moon.
