This photograph of mine was a finalist in Next Magazine's Pride Photo Contest 2011!
Last night was Gerry Visco's fantastical birthday partayay at White Noise; so everyone came ready to celenebriate down. And that we did. Here's the first batch of photo memories — first of the birthday girl herself.
Non-consecutive time follows — or manifests from, and thus disrupting the cause and effect sequence of its own introduction — an open bar with three rounds of shots that seemed to be nothing but vodka and food coloring, a clandestine bottle shared at another club and I can't remember what else we shared on someone's roof top. But here's a photo essay of Demanda Dahling and Chip Cirrhosis to prove that we were there. Or somewhere on Saturday night.
In his exhibit at the MoMA, Francis Alÿs writes "Continuous performance cancels the sequence of events" onto a sketch of one of his happenings. I'd say that any sequence of events is also cancelled by a night of celenebriating with Demanda Dahling, Matthew Herra C and Chip Cirrhosis. Here's the first of many photo-essays of our Saturday night.
