Before Eric Halliwell and I were shooed out of the VIP that we are in every Friday, Eric was able to snap this picture (above) of Adam Lambert. Click here to get a good look at his eyes. We were all partying down at the F Word, the weekly night of fantastical mayhem thrown by NYC Nightlife legend Michael Formika Jones and Mark Nelson. I look forward to it—not just last Friday when I DJ'ed there—because the F Word is the kind of party that I love New York for throwing. I'm glad that Lambert was able to unwind with us after his show at the Highline earlier in the evening. I know those of us who go every week are there because we have a blast. We dance, drink, and take lots of pictures we can laugh with later, like those I love taking of Demanda Dahling (pictured below) and DivaSteve (pictured with Demanda). I cannot wait for the Valentine's Day party tomorrow that Demanda is hosting and I'm DJ'ing.

Here are some more shots of Kyle, both alone and with James (further down, left).

That's Eric Halliwell (click either of his names here to see his websites) in between the shots of James just above. We canvassed the club while Francis Legge, my roaming buddy earlier, was busy filming everyone in front of the green screen, including Monique Fontaine (pictured below) and Nancy Nosecandy (pictured further below).

Also there was my friend Dzu (pictured further down), who let his hands do the talking with Demanda Dahling. It was more for effect, not because she couldn't hear him above the steady thump.
Fashion shows go by in a blur, sometimes well after they are supposed to begin. I guess that is why there was no free champagne for me in the press pit. A few flutes and I would have missed the whole thing altogether. Sure, I could have nabbed one from Sherry Vine, Epiphany, or Michael Formika Jones in VIP; but I wanted to keep my trigger finger nimble for Cheng-Huai Chuang's debut ready-to-wear women's collection. I knew of Chuang because he had designed some fantastical DragTease t-shirts with Sherry on them. I was there because Francis Legge, who was filming the models working the runway in VIP as Sherry did above before the show, texted me to ask if I would come see the looks. I was impressed with the ones in Chuang's show, particularly #7 (black organza ruffled blouse with organza & tulle flamenco skirt), #9 (red satin & lace belted cocktail dress), and the closing #12 (black satin, organza & french Alençon lace gown). Here they all are in order, starting with the opening flamenco dancer who started things off and represented Cheng's inspiration for the collection, and ending with some shots of everyone on the catwalk.
