Once I had another couple rounds got my bearings at The F Word, after surveying three different floors with four different DJs, I toasted everyone nestled behind DJ Bill Coleman a happy new year. In the midst of everyone was the ever-fantastical Amanda Lepore (pictured below with Jonni Rendi to her right and George Pérez to her left).
Baby Jane (pictured below) and Rendi were in a particularly festive mood. Jane was all kisses and Rendi lovingly wished me a Happy Jew Year. Amanda was soon dancing with us. So was Hostess-with-the-Mostess Michael Formika Jones (pictured further below). Not dancing but equally jovial was Cazwell, who bopped into VIP for a minute to say hello to one and all.
Next thing I know, Formika was onstage, thanking everyone for coming out and supporting NYC nightlife. Then Formika introduced Glammy winner Erickatoure Aviance (pictured below)--or, according to Formika, "someone with nuts covered in chocolate with a hard shell that's crunchy with a soul that lives on beyond any one of us."
Erickatoure tore through her single "My Pumps," clicking her heels the whole time. Director (and birthday boy that night) Francis Legge (pictured above) was on hand to film her. Check out Francis' video here:
We all shared a few more rounds of drinks while I took a few dozen more pictures, like these of Rendi talking with Nancy Nosecandy (below), and Nancy and Brian Mills giving good face--and shoulder, as it were (further below). I have no idea who that kissing couple is near Nancy; but clearly, she's channeling their excitement for the new year ecstasy. Bill Coleman continued his set; and I decided to roam around and take in the other rooms.
