"Experience is not what happens to a man," explains George (Colin Firth) in Todd Ford's film, A Single Man, to his oh-so-eager student suitor Kenny (Nicholas Hoult), "but what a man does with what happens to him." The same could be said about any single night out in New York City. What makes it fantastical is not what happens during it but what you do with it, where you take it. Some nights continue to flicker, like last week's B*tch @ss Trick party, not because I took so many pictures but because the energy was palpable. There was Johnny dancing his @ss off all night (pictured above in the midst of the groove as well as during a quick break from it). There was Cazwell (pictured below with his dancers) dancing his @ss off during his amazing performance.
There was Kyle (pictured below) and his bottle of Ketel One that finished off our night in style.
There was Amanda Lepore dancing the night away. There was Vogue Evolution serving up a storm. There was everyone in their Wednesday best, including Eric Halliwell (pictured below left and right) and Dzu (pictured below middle), ready to take it all in. I'm ready let more nights like these flicker with more pictures here, and in my head, once the F Word gets started again on January 1st.
