What's a young chanteuse with dreams of making it big to do when the music industry we once knew is in tatters and there are no longer any major music chain retailers in New York City? Take to YouTube! It worked for Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj. So, look out world! Here comes the fantastical Miss Sherry Vine with her Lady Gaga "Bad Romance" parody: "I Sh!t My Pants"!
As far as Internet product placement goes these days, she's already got her pump in the door, with a posting on PerezHilton.com that dubs Sherry Lady Caca. The reviews are already pouring in (after the video on his site). One budding critic calls the Divine Miss V "the Weird Al of 2009." Another calls Sherry's video the director's cut of Bad Romance. Not bad for a young girl with $1.99 and a dream.
Let's see if we can get Sherry's video past the one million hits mark. Tell your friends. So they can tell two friends. And so on. I know we'll be celebrating when she performs with Epiphany in The Blonde Leading the Blonde show tonight at Vlada!
